I was born and raised in New York State and have since lived in Maine, Florida, Pennsylvania, Texas, New Jersey, and now I live in Colorado. My husband and I have three delightful, adult children and an old Jack Russell Terrier named
Belle who seems to find her way into my novels. My resume will tell you I graduated from SUNY Plattsburgh with a degree in Communications, and after graduation I worked as a radio and television reporter, freelance writer, editor and marketing professional.

I'm a member of American Christian Fiction Writers (ACFW) and am assistant director of Words For The Journey, Rocky Mountain Region.

But what's most important to know about me is that I am a follower of Jesus, wife, mother, friend, reader and writer.

Though Bronleewe opted to leave Jars of Clay early on to pursue an academic career, he soon found himself in Nashville, co-writing, producing, and playing music professionally.

To add to his list of accomplishments, Bronleewe has expanded his love of story telling beyond music into authorship. He is currently penning a 5 book series for Thomas Nelson Fiction. His first book Illuminated began the adventurous series about rare manuscripts and the mysteries within.

Bronleewe currently resides in Brentwood, Tenn., with his wife and three children. He continues to write and produce music, and he also volunteers through his church to help disadvantaged youth in the community. Bronleewe enjoys reading, taste-testing good food and watching sports, as well as indulging his interests in art, architecture, design and science.

        The canned blurb doesn't do justice to this masterpiece of the legal thriller genre. He's so vulnerable that he has to ask an aged Catholic priest for lessons in fighting. Is that a strong resume for a guy with a fiery temper? I think not, especially when his mouth precedes his brain when dealing with powerful people ... and their bodyguards.
        Try Darkness is a must-read for anyone who loves fast-moving, edgy, smart suspense novels. It entertained Nancy and me in great style, and we were truly sorry when it ended.(Note to James Scott Bell: If you end Ty Buchanan's adventures here, we will find you! And we will "convince" you to resurrect this engaging and addictive protagonist. You've been warned.)
